Then the cosy Euler oasis is transformed into a rustic, romantic pine forest in the middle of Basel city. A cast-iron cauldron hangs above the blazing flames of a fire bowl. The cheese slowly melts into a hearty cheese fondue and exudes a tantalisingly spicy aroma. Long forks dip crusty bread into the creamy consistency and pull extra-long strings. Accompanied by a spicy, warming aperitif or a wine tasting from the Euler wine cellar. What more could a Basel Christmas heart desire?
